D1Arrival - Yangon

Today, fly to Yangon. Upon arrival, be met by your English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel.

Your morning is free at leisure.

In the afternoon, enjoy a Yangon City Tour. Visit the Sule Pagoda dating back over 2,000 years. Proceed to the magnificent reclining Buddha Buddha Chauk Htat Gyi and the Karaweik Wall, a 'hamsa-bird-shaped' barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake.  Stroll through the Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays) for hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Complete your day with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda.

D3Yangon - Bagan

In the morning, fly to Bagan.

Visit the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Shew Gu Gyi Temple noted for its panoramic view of the area’s numerous monuments and Ananda Temple with its four magnificent standing Buddha images.

In the afternoon, a decorated ox-cart will be waiting to show you more of Bagan's ancient temples in the traditional way of transportation used by people in Myanmar's countryside. Complete the day by watching sunset while cruising along the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River.

D4Bagan - Mandalay

In the morning, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Mandalay.

Experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay including one of the most revered religious monuments in Myanmar, the Mahamuni Pagoda, the Shwe Inbin Monastery, the Golden Palace Monastery, which is a superb example of a traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book consisting of 729 marble slabs on which the entire Buddhist Canon is inscribed. Visit a traditional handloom silk workshop as well as a Kalaga tapestries craftsmen’s shop before proceeding to Mandalay Hill for sunset.

D5Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake

In the morning, fly to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport, proceed by road to Nyaung Shwe (32 km - 1 hour).

Enjoy a full day boat excursion of Inle Lake. See the famous Inthar leg rowers, floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. You will visit the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century, the Nga Phe Monastery, famous for its beautiful collection of ancient Buddha statues, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and one of the local markets in the Inle Lake region (on market days only).

D6Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon - Departure

After breakfast, transfer by boat to Nyaung Shwe and then Heho Airport (32 km – 1h) for the domestic flight back to Yangon.

Upon arrival in Yangon, you will be transferred you to a hotel, where a day room is reserved for you.

The car and guide will be at your disposal until you are transferred to the airport for your flight home.

  • Full payment is due 14 days prior to departure. Thomas Cook China reserves the right to release all services in case of payment default.


  • Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival : 20% of total amount is due
  • Between 20 and 7 days prior to arrival : 50% of total amount is due
  • Between 6 days and 2 day prior to arrival: 75% of total amount is due
  • 1 day or No-show: 100% of total amount is due
